Latino Night School Latino Night School Will Begin Nov. 2 at Sunnycrest
The start date for Latino Night School at Sunnycrest Elementary has been
changed to November 2. Classes began October 3 at Wildwood Elementary. Latino
Night School is for elementary and middle school students and families living
within Federal Way Public Schools. Classes are from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. every
Monday and Wednesday and include:
• Basic to Advanced English • Moms
with young infants & toddlers English classes • Pre-school enrichment for
3-5 year olds • Help with homework for students from 1st – 8th grade •
Other classes offered including nutrition, cooking, finance and learning common
software programs, such as Excel.
This is offered at no cost to residents
residing in the Federal Way Public Schools boundaries. For more information,
please call 253-945-2226 Credit retrieval classes and tutorial support for high school English Language Learners will now be offered through the International Academy. For more information, call (253) 945-5802. Classes meet from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursday on the Truman Campus. Offerings may include English, Math, History and Science, based on student interest.
