PTA will be selling cookies today during lunch. They are 50 cents each or 2 for $1.
The PTA would like to thank everyone who came out and supported our first McTeacher Night this week. A huge thank you to the Lakota staff that volunteered: Ms. Petzoldt, Mr. Biggerstaff, Ms. Walls, Mr. Quick, Mr. Andeson, Ms. Willimason, Ms. Marsh, Ms. Tuggle, Mr. McCarthy, Ms. Edwards and Ms. Sukola. The PTA earned almost $500, all money that will come back to the students here at Lakota, way to go!
The 6th grade math team members competed in the Mount Rainer Math Invitational. We were first place in our division, beating Kilo! We had three teams there, the top team placers were Trisha N., Alyssa T., and Richard C. Richard also placed second overall against tough competition. Our winning team was made up of Richard C., Solomon K., Andrew T. and Ji I., each of whom made an important contribution.
Jamba Juice this Friday during for $4 each.
